I thought it made sense with the wispy, tall, ghosty look of the whole thing, and it tied in well with her aesthetic. I liked it and thought it made sense outside of "lol its a beard", although I am highly biased because she's great. v:shobon:v I agree that she probably didn't explain it that well, though.

I'm also surprised Bianca won over Trinity, especially since they clocked Bianca's makeup and I thought as a whole, Trinity's was way more interesting.

Milk, I love you and I'm gonna leer at you out of drag the entire time like a total creep while you're on the show but you will have. To. Bend. Play the game because I want you to stay on because you're totally rad, beard and all.

Me defending Josyln Fox's pun a page back: rescinded. That girl is a total dumdum, which will hopefully be fun to watch.

I liked Magnolia's little Not Pretty/Not Funny bit right at the top of the show, but goddamn, it went downhill fast. Holy loving poo poo, what did she say? Cow print wasn't a "basic pattern?" Also: Gingham. Giiinnghaammmm.

Trinity pulling out that runway look: 100% unexpected. Wasn't expecting anything but bland pleasantness and came away delighted.

EDIT: Holy poo poo, Milk walks into the episode with toilet paper stuck to her shoe. A loving PLUS.

That was probably the best episode of the show I've seen in a long time, and this show deserves an Emmy for the post-production editing. Everything form Vi's head peaking out of the foam pit in the last episode to the music cues and getting the perfect reaction shots in this episode were amazing.

Best part of the episode actually came during the credits. The big showdown between each group, and everybody is going shifty eyed and glaring and clicking nails and mean-mugging in the first group, then it cuts to the second group, and everybody else is doing the same....

...except for the 9 foot tall wizard Milk with the biggest :haw: face in the world.

Long live Milk.

Finally able to watch the episode in full; hoowee! These were the fun queens, no doubt about it (I still love Ben!)

Bianca is giving me life, but I fear her shtick will wear really thin really fast. In the more short term, I am hoping for some serious smack-talk between her and Gia. You know Bianca can read Gia for literal filth. She will be poo poo on Bianca's shoe.

Based on their looks as boys, I thought Joslyn would be the bitch and Gia would be the ditz. Huh.

Everyone on the internet is gagging over Courtney, but I'm not fully convinced yet. She's beautiful and charming, but the look was dull (and Republican Party had so much promise!), and her body is not that feminine. She really needs a dress to sell me on her fishiness.

MILK! I'm gonna say pro-beard in theory, less so in practice. I'd have preferred a chinstrap or goatee or some other fratboy-type facial hair. I think that would have worked with the toga party theme, but I suspect the judges would've hated that more.

Jeezus Krist, who crapped in Magnolia's corn flakes? More to the point, how did she even get on the show? I couldn't even watch her, she made me so uncomfortable. And that lip sync! That was the most awkward lip sync since Mimi Imfurst went WWE on India! Good luck with all that 'exposure'.

In related news, Darienne is fabulous and hope she goes far.

Milk's avant-garde style is incredible, and I'm so, so happy that the judges totally get it.

I don't drink dairy, but I'll make an exception for a tall glass of Milk :allears:

Also, the immediate rapport between her and Courtney was absolutely adorable. Plus, they both have wonderfully positive attitudes so I don't think we're at risk of Heathers or Rolaskatox or anything similarly retarded.

what a humorous anecdote.
Magnolia's reasons for being on the show are sound... until she says she's just doing it to feed her ego. Going on Drag Race purely for exposure is actually a great move, so long as you play the game.
All in all I'm glad she went home, and I'm delighted Dareienne stayed, I just hope she goes for more looks than the weird pouch thing she did. So many big queens have done that before.

Magnolia was probably the worst "Drag Race" contestant ever. She's sub-Nicole Paige Brooks awful. I feel like they put Darienne in the bottom over Joslyn because they knew Darienne would completely destroy that lipsync and send the swordfish packing. (And there is NO EXCUSE for not knowing "Turn The Beat Around". NONE.)

This is such an impressive field. I haven't the faintest clue who's going to make top 3, except Courtney who's a gimme. This is shaping up to be an excellent season.

Watched 602 last night with my BF and we LOVED Milk. Such a hilarious character, and she also has a great style. I'll be rooting for her.

Loved what Bianca put togetherd that dress was great.

Interesting to note that of the older queens (35+), only Bianca wasn't in the bottom two. Darienne, Kelly and Vivacious were either elimated or bottom two.

Also, glad that Magnolia is gone, "I'm here for the exposure." Yea, good job on that one, you exposed yourself as a jackass. Enjoy having people not show up at your shows.

I love Manila so much that it didn't quite bother me, but that's just personal bias. I try not to take the shade too seriously, especially when Ru calls drag race "our tacky little show."

That said, I love Alaska for at least trying to kill Rolaskatox. It's pointless drama when there's naturally already enough shade to cool off all of southern California.

I think part of what's so refreshing about this premier is that it doesn't have anything like the prefab Coco/Alyssa drama. I know the claws will start to come out in a few weeks, but it's nice to not start the season out with this huge plot bomb that we have already been told multiple times is going to go off. Having the whole Rolaskatox thing heaped on in like episode 2 kinda soured the season early for me, especially since I was really excited about Detox and Alaska, and only Alaska really lived up to that expectation.

And yeah, the Heathers thing was stupid. Yo, you just want a cool name for all your friends so you can ostracize the other queens. Don't try to make it something else. :colbert:

I still love season 3 though. There were some great queens that year. I want Stacey Layne Matthews on All Stars 2 like whoa. God, though, I hope it's not set teams again. That sucked.

Is that what she said? She said guys try to pick her up thinking she is a woman but she didn't specifically say she didn't tell them the truth before doing whatever with them.
Her story was abut a guy that just wouldn't admit to himself she was a man. I mean sure, she looks fishy as hell but she's got an Adam's apple...

I just re-watched it to make sure i remembered it properly: she starts off talking about the intimate relations she's had while in drag, and how she gets straight guys who're into her, and then she says 'there's that 30 seconds after a man blows where he's not thinking about sex, and all of a sudden they get that look in their eye, and you're like, 'are you gonna punch me, or are you gonna throw up?''

Then Darienne and Bianca talk about how you have to be honest with people.

It's actually kind of unclear how honest she is with guys (though it doesn't seem like she goes around misleading hetero dudes and then declaring 'SURPRISE! I'M A MAN!'), but if you're concerned that your partner might punch you after sex, then something is clearly off somewhere.

I think she says something about them questioning because I feel like it's implied they know she's a he but don't discuss it. They're the kind of guy that may be gay but not comfortable with it which is why they can't tell if they wanna barf or punch her.
