Adam is a wonderful example of how a player should go about his business in the NRL
Some quick thoughts after yesterday's farce...

Tomkins looks good on attack, but he really needs to get his act together on bombs or find another position. Which could happen sooner rather than later because Townsend doesn't look right. Lots of indecisive sideways crap. Leuluai is always going to be welcome to the 6 jersey as well.

What the gently caress did Elliott do at halftime? I've given him credit for fixing things quickly, but yesterday we came out of halftime flat. I've heard that we had a similar performance after halftime against the Eels.

That last try was the most Warriors try possible.

Fusitua needs another few weeks in reserve grade. He'll get there, but yesterday was poor.

Eden Park looked like poo poo with 14k in the stands. The club is out of their mind if they think moving there permanently is a good idea.

Joel Edwards was a surprisingly good signing but again the Raiders just really suck at putting players down with the first contact in defence.

That last try was hilarious that even the ref stopped to call the forward pass but then just changed his mind.

Anyone else having a horrendous start to their tipping comps? If Newcastle can't steal this I'm 5/15 :negative:

Newcastle got reffed out of that, so many bullshit calls

Something something Stuart had the refs bank account details

The refs were poor but they also gave you guys a ton of leeway with forward passes. I don't think Waddell passed backwards at all.

You guys got a try off a forward pass so we are even on that.

Speer tackling a dude without the ball should be 10 in the bin.

It's pretty much impossible to win games when the ref is reffing only one team

Joel Edwards gently put the bloke on his back. If he sees any time for that tackle I will be shocked. I am sorry your team lost but the Raiders were obviously the better side on the night.

Raiders deserved to win that, but the lack of calls for forward passes is getting ridiculous. They're happening all the time at the moment and it's just silly.

The good news for the Raiders is Wighton playing a bit of a breakout game at 5/8 if he can keep things rolling he will be a good player.

He absolutely belted Minto at the end to get the ball loose. For his size he is a pretty good defender.

Don't get over excited, you had double the penalties and you barely beat a mediocre Knights team.

hmmm yes saying that Wighton shows some promise at 5/8 after playing well at 5/8 is surely getting over excited.

Always hate seeing people get injured, especially when they're younger and you can just see they had a huge future ahead of them. Poor guy.

With the news we had of YowYeh facing amputation a year or so back it was pretty apparent he'd never be back. Hopefully his leg heals enough that he can run around with his kids in a few years.

edit: Sharks already missing their best 3 players and down 42-0 also now face their 4th best player limping off injured.

I love when the clubs stick by the players and find work/qualifications for them. Considering how often players sacrifice their health it's the least they can do, but it's still great to see.

Also, lol Sharks.
