I really have to wonder how Z3.2 is going to handle things with regards to Z3.1. Several Aquarion EVOL characters are living or dead and Asuka can avoid her canonical fate entirely or get eaten by an Angel. Even if Asuka comes back in Rebuild 3.0 they'd have to justify her eyepatch somehow or another. Not to mention that apparently Char can be recruited/not recruited?

You'd have to go completely out of your way to gimp Gunbuster just due to the sizing system. Man everyone I've talked to who has finished this game pretty much just point blank says "Best final stage in an SRW game ever". I'm really pumped to get through this game faster because I want to see a final stage in an SRW that isn't a lovely slog argh

While the DLC stages have been pretty easy, I was pleasantly surprised by the fifth one after Stage 16 where you have to defeat a bunch of enemies in one turn. Still really easy, but it reminded me of the Puzzle Robo stages from older games. Anyone know if the later Bonus Stages are more like this?

Nice thing about the DLC bonus stages is in NG+, you can do them at any time. The thing is, they remain cleared so you can immediately get the reward without doing the stage over. You can repeat the stage for the reduced reward as normal though. Makes for a pretty big boost up front on the second go-round.

Speaking of Chirico, I tried looking for the BGM that was set to him in that long video showcasing a bunch of final attacks (where he attaked with Karen). It feels weird being half way through the game and having almost no combination attacks. I know the TTGL siblings have one (although I couldn't access it once, not sure if they changed the rules on combination attacks with subunits or w/e) but that's it so far.

Well they got rid of half the series from Z2 that had combo attacks and at least up to stage 41 nobody except the Gurren Lagann kids can use theirs anymore. I'm pretty sure the Full Metal Panic crew has one but I never used it and I dropped all the non Sosuke characters pretty fast.

Basara gets the song and the combo attack later in the game. A good number of combo attacks are likely to return as upgrades in Z3.2. Freedom doesn't have his because Infinite Justice isn't in the game, Shin Dragon/Getter likely don't so they can unlock them in Part 2, ect.

So with Z3-1 was it intentional That with the exception of Big O, who's plot is integral to people forgetting the past, that all the series that 'Knew' each other even back in Z1, such as Turn A (Records of Aquarion, even though they didn't exist in the same world) Xabungle (Arthur Rank had passed down all the knowledge from one to another), Gundam X (Dome), King Gainer etc. etc. the ones who would all poke holes in the time prison are excluded? Because Turn-A had been through a cycle, yet it still knew Aquarion, the Overdevil, all these things it couldn't possibly know since it had never met them yet. Because if so, I wonder if that's all coming back for Z3-2
