Also, I'm a fan of the Nightengale purely because it's a mix of the Zeong, The O, and the Qubeley in Char Custom colors. That thing is the final boss for the classic UC timeline.

You want units that got completely shafted, look at the Mordred and Tristan in Z2.2. Anya's animations are bland as gently caress and Gino's are actively terrible, and they each have 2 attacks total. The Sutherland Sieg and Vincent weren't exactly awe-inspiring either. At least you can get Gino up to like 20 move for shits.

I'm kinda disappointed that Mazinger doesn't have Kanjite Knight for its BGM, so I ended up just using the Z2 version until I can find a better instrumental version I guess. Was kinda tempted to use the SRW OE version for maximum trumpets. Will probably use Yuusou for Shin Getter once I get that. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to try out different tracks for the Zeta units because I'm not that big a fan of Senkou no Naka no MS.

Is there some reason I can't find the actual opening to Aquarion Evol on Youtube, just the song? Is Youtube or the publisher clamping down on that or something? Are my search terms ("aquarion evol opening") wrong?

One thing I've wondered ever since I learned of Gundam Unicorn is, why is the Nu-Gundam's symbol a unicorn? What connection to they have? Or is it just completely accidental (from the writing point of view)?

Isn't the Nu Gundam's symbol just an extra-stylized A (for Amuro)?

The Nu Gundam's symbol is a unicorn because that is Amuro's insignia. It is Amuro's insignia because if you shorten Unicorn you get UC. Also the Unicorn is essentially the successor to the Nu in that it further utilizes pscyhoframe, but beyond that they just named it that because reasons.

The emblem on the Nu's shield has always been more stylized since they have more room for flashy stuff.

Of course not. Amuro's been around for 35 years, Unicorn only started like 5 years ago!

The Unicorn was the final part of said plan. It was made after CCA because psychoframe hadn't been invented yet. There is no real connection between the Unicorn and Amuro beyond the name. Banagher and the Unicorn are pretty much just references to Gundam leads and lead suits as a whole.

It's just unintentional, like how Banagher will drop an Amuro quote because of course he will.

The only super tenuous connection between Amuro and the Unicorn is that the Unicorn's psycoframe was made the same way the Nu Gundam's was.

I'm in a position to buy another super-upgrade from AG's store, which one should it be? I already have the hakai emblem. Does anyone have experience with that "gain meter", which generates money at a rate of 500 per space moved? How much money does it end up being?

There's another item you can get later on which gives you money based on the damage you deal which is way more effective. I'd just hold off unless you have a really good item unlocked. It isn't worth spending Z-Chips right away. The "1.2 damage at 130 morale" or the "Afterimage/Jammer/D-Fault" items are both great. The latter basically makes any auto-deploys worth using if nothing else.

Hah just realized that I never have to see the zero system activation ever again because Heero already hits the stage with it activated. I'll probably get the Chimera's Membership Card for him just to see how far I can push it, considering that I've already fallen into the trap of making him the best pilot.
