I want an orange kitty but at least 33% of the household isn't ready for another cat yet  Cat behavior experts, what does the following mean? Yesterday both Solomon Chumby and I were out of the house all day, leaving Torgo alone for 9 hours for the first time since Cabot died ~7 weeks ago. When I got home, Torgo was more affectionate than usual after I fed him, and followed me around for a couple of hours. Later he was out in the living room in the dark, wandering and bellowing meows every 30-60s. This morning as Solomon and I got ready to head out for the day, Torgo was running around energetically but showed no interest in playing. Anxiety? Loneliness? Is cat? Help?

Gollum seems to be fine. Vet removed thing, checked and said "it is swollen with macrophages", but no pus or infection, so it was a weird kind of cyst? Anyways, removed now, and she is all zonked.   Her breath is not improved by cauterization  She really hates me
