Good to go here in VA. No Commonwealth Attorney will prosecute domestic assault for a legitimate and reasonable corporal punishment of a child, and no officer I know would ever seek charges for it in the first place. My day: 16:30 volunteered to go in 4.5 hours early for some Overtime and to help out the evening guys 17:00 Fate decides it's my turn to deal with a 13 year old female runaway that has been smoking speed, weed, and K2. She fights me (as best she can at 85 lbs). her 11 year old brother wants to fight me too. 21:30 Finally get them situated at juvie jail after waiting for hours at the hospital for clearance. 02:00 It starts raining and all of the building alarms in my beat decide I need to get wet checking on wet buildings 06:00 (One hour until my shift ends) Fatality wreck: Linclon towncar with two unrestrained adults and an unrestrained infant vs. a bread truck. Infant dies. 08:00 An old guy walks out of his front door and shoots himself in the head with a handgun, his wife says he's been depressed recently. (Someone else had to work it I'm still on the wreck. 08:30 A transit bus has reportedly flipped over on its side three blocks from the fatality accident. People are trapped inside. 09:00 I check off duty 16.5 hour shift stats: 2 souls lost 4 People treated in the ER 2 in jail 3 vehicles totaled THIS was the day someone should have rode shotgun with me to see what my job is like.

Dude.... Heavy day. I don't miss those at all. So far my day has consisted of: 0400: Wake up because I desperately have to pee. 0423: Finally cave in and decide to get up to pee. 0426: Pee 0429: Back in bed 0500: Decide I'm not going to get back to sleep so I'll get up and be productive before work." 0504: Screw that, I'm gonna watch Archer 0712: "I've watched a lot of Archer, I'd better get some breakfast before work. 0722: Got a breakfast burrito. For breakfast. 0730: Sat down at my desk to eat aforementioned burrito. 0804: I'm "working" while I browse the forums. I guess there's a silver lining to working normal hours again huh?

I had a suspicious person call which turned out to be nothing. That was all. For my entire 12 hour shift. Citycop, thankfully that guy just shot himself instead of making it a murder/suicide. Small victories.

drat, those sound like much better jobs! I moved into my tiny house at my family's landscape business and I'm doing construction estimating for my little brother. It's mindless, stupid work that a monkey could do but nobody shoots at me so it'll do. Talk about an ego hit. Working for my baby brother for less than half of what I made before. Perks are flexible hours, no shave policy, I can tell my boss he's a mouth breathing freedom hater any time I want (and I do it daily), and my commute to work is less than 30 steps. Definitely something I can handle for a few months. As soon as my retirement case is finished I'll hopefully be hitting the road for some aimless wandering around the country for a while. So if any of you have a place to park a 16 foot trailer and access to an outlet and a hose I'll stop in for a visit! If I could figure out that picture posting stuff I'd throw up some tiny house pics. Maybe that's a goal for tonight huh? Edit: But if any of you have connections at youporn let me know. It sounds like a much better way to make a living than getting youtube famous by dragging my house around the country and getting into mischief.

Have you guys not been following the Bone thread in games? Buying a Bone is possibly the worst decision you can make right now, though if you have one please speak up so we can mock you relentlessly. I gave up on Planetside when I realized that you need to keep pouring obscene amounts of money into it to keep up. After spending over $300 on Planetside 2 I couldn't be bothered to spend anymore money, and without being a subscriber the rate of progression in the game is a glacial pace, and the gunplay alone wasn't interesting enough to keep me playing. The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is free to play on steam. It's plays kinda like a Diablo clone but instead of random maps, you go through other players castles and have to get around their guards and traps. I think the bast part about it is that you setup your own castles defense and you get to watch the replays of the people that try to beat it. It doesn't seem to be a play to win game either as the only things you can buy are additional character types and poo poo that makes you level up faster.

I got it to play GTA5 cause my xbox360 was struck by lightning. I rarely play games anymore but it's got a huge library of psn games. I was playing Bully a while ago and it was pretty awesome.

I like playing games on it fine, but in reality it really shines as a digital media player. But it's super loving retarded that they made the controls for DVDs different than the ones for Blu-Ray
