My 04.5 GLI would turn the front wheels black in 2-3 days after a wash. The Golf doesn't seem to even acknowledge that the brakes have dust.

Technically you still have atmospheric pressure in addition to the spring, which at a higher altitude could influence your peak boost numbers, although not as severely as was mentioned earlier.
