Did you miss all the posters who didn't know who Locke was when he showed up at the wall? It does serve a purpose, most viewers can't keep track of all the characters. My parents both watch the show and whenever I discuss it with them I have to explain who various characters are and what's going on.

My brother's terrible at keeping track of the characters - he gets confused about which house people belong to, let alone who their loyalties lie with at any given time. He describes his enjoyment of the show of "Yeah, they're all fighting over something and sometimes they say something witty. Then they have a sword-fight.".

I just like the OP because it gives a decent chuckle.

Pretty much all the characters are significantly older in the TV show. Daenrysis like 13 in the books but HBO's offices would have burned down by a mob after her wedding night if they'd gone with that.

TBH, I didn't know who Locke was when he showed up at the wall, either. It took Bran two seasons to get from Winterfell to the Wall, so the last thing I was expecting was some random Bolton lackey to do it in an episode.

It makes sense that it would take much less time for Locke, since he could use a horse and the kingsroad. Bran can't walk, went thru the mountains, and stopped constantly. Locke still got there very fast though, but that's how people travel in the story. As fast as they need to.

I didn't know who Locke was when he showed up at the wall. I thought he was just a dude who looked a bit too much like the six fingered man.

Then they started with the lingering shots and sinister music notes and I realized it must be a bad guy.

I was checking it with my sister yesterday, since we were also curious. Here's a thing, according to the TV wiki.

code:
Actor, Age / Character, Age / Difference

Maisie Williams, 17 / Arya, 14 / 3 years
Sophie Turner, 18 / Sansa, 15-16 / 2-3 years
Isaac H-W, 15 / Bran, 13 / 2 years
Kit Harringon, 27 / Jon Snuh, 20 / 7 years
Richard Madden, 26* / Robb, 19 / 7 years

*(as of S3E9)
I probably won't do adults since who cares.

I agree with this guy, jokes are dumb, putting effort into OP's is dumb, content is dumb. Frankly we should stop posting altogether and delete the whole site IMO.

I did, however, forget to update Sansa's description since she's no long a hostage. Although actually after that last scene with her and Lysa, I guess it still kind of fits.
