"You're the best looking guy here."
I thought Battleground was really fun (I'm also from Madison so there might be a little bias) but most of my Community viewing happened through hulu plus because I was always working Thursday nights. I would be very okay with this, but I don't have any hope for shows getting revived after the heartbreaking Happy Endings debacle of '13.

What's up another Madison goon? I am also definitely OK with this, but am not keeping my hopes up.

Amen brother. I'd never expect this, but I find myself missing Happy Endings more than Community.

I can see when you are lying.

It occurs to me that if Hulu does pick up the show, the actor's current contracts might not matter anymore. They'd have to be renegotiated, but Hulu isn't bound by any season premiere dates or network production schedules, so they can take their time and find a time when all the requisite actors will be available.

It's still a stretch.

Community fans would probably enjoy the first 1:15 of the Reading Rainbow kickstarter video; it's a pretty heavy riff on Troy's reaction to him. Last 30 seconds or so also have a good bit.

AD already had horrible ADR so the compositing fit in with the show.
With Community they could make trully single character episodes. Made in different styles in different locations by different crews.

Danny and Donald were at E3 promoting Far Cry 4. They discuss Community a bit.

I love that character. Who doesn't? Who watches the show and doesn't want -- because Troy and Abed were a fun part of it. I mean, I always liked the Dean the most, personally, but I think the gang is really fun to see together. So yeah, I'd be down to do something.

Also, according to Danny the contracts expire at the end of June so Hulu needs to decide soon.

So after Sony announced their initiative to make shows for PlayStation at E3 (starting with Powers), I wonder - why don't they just bring back Community as a PlayStation show? There'd be plenty of overlap with the demographics at least, and wouldn't making it in-house be easier?

I don't even want it back at this point. I know the finale we got was underwhelming, but I get the sense that Dan and the whole cast have moved on and let it go. I don't want it back if they're all gonna be forced to do it and half-rear end it.

I'm not so sure they've "let it go" - I think they're doing their best to accept things as they are, and the fact that the show ever coming back is still a longshot. But that doesn't mean that they wouldn't leap at the chance of doing it again, as long as they didn't have a network actively trying to kill it.
