tons and tons but just to sorta pick one at random the new Absolut LP "Punk Survival" is a total crusty/dbeat slammer

Stumbled onto this a little while ago. Yea, this is a great record.

Also enjoying the new We Came Out Like Tigers, though that's more blackened screamo.

Where does Jeromes Dream's gimmick of irreparably damaging your vocal cords rate compared to movie samples?

Best usage of a sample still belongs to Portrait by the way (actually I just wanted an excuse to post this song).

I don't rate it because I really do not think that the concept of yelling loudly is a gimmick especially considering many of the bands that would be covered in this thread. :crow:

I was more referring to the stories that he used to vomit blood on stage because of his vocal technique.

What attitude problem?
Saw The Menzingers last night. Much better than the last few times I've seen them, I think they handle themselves much better when they headline. Still haven't listened to Rented World though they played a little bit of everything. Definitely recommend seeing them if you're on the fence about it, but the crowd had a few more macho beefy shirtless guys throwing elbows than I remember in the past.

I always find this one too be too funny. It's not the best. The best one is "A kid who tells on another kid is a dead kid." I know They live and a few other bands use it but I can't find any tracks right now.

I just sold all my OG pressings (both eps and first 2 LPs). If you're willing to spend money like the kids who bought my copies, you should be able to find them pretty easy.

I'm just not sure where I'd even look. The obvious answer is ebay but that just returned me a bunch of tee shirts (most of them weren't even for the right band).

As far as vinyl goes I believe Cory at Halo Of Flies has talked about finding stock every now and again, and Alex (the singer from FOE) mentioned there might be a repressing of a few things as well. I feel pretty lucky to have been able to snag a preorder of the boxset when it came out.

Does anyone have recommendations for 90s midwestern Emo? I'm on a kick right now. I guess they don't have to been from the midwest, but that's what people are calling that sound.
