It's not really that hard to distinguish Asians for the most part though, Chinese are really easy to identify they have a very specific 'sh' sound a lot in their language. Japanese are similarly fairly easy to identify because of their language, too, a lot of hard consonants. Then Korean and Vietnamese have their own distinct sound, too.
