Take either of those cars off a jump with a 10-foot drop and smack the dirt at a 45-degree angle like the various Raptor drivers did and tell me how they hold up. vv Exactly. The only problems with the Raptor are located between the steering wheel and headrest. Fender Anarchist fucked around with this message at 04:00 on Jun 17, 2014 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hCPODjJO7s Someone posted this in one of the other threads, don't think it's been posted here. Stuffing a Celica GT suspension and drivetrain into a classic Mini, with just the right amount of cocking about. The level of fabrication in this series is absolutely mindblowing. No easy-mode tube frames; the dude is a wizard with sheetmetal, and the project is approaching Kevbarlas levels of fabrication and metal replacement, percentage-wise if not by mass.

Given the amount of time and effort put in it seems a waste to use what these days is a pretty old, obsolete engine/drivetrain package (unless there was a compelling reason I missed?)

He lays out his reasons in this Q&A session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIwZ3igJVMI Long story short: - He wanted to make the ultimate project Mini - He got the Mini cheap, locally (though didn't know it was as bad as it was) - His GT-Four got written off so he already had the drive train

They kinda hit on it at the end - they filmed that at the same time as Roadkill #29. They're pros at looking Also, they did something with that Camaro that you don't see often on the cable-channel car shows they call out. Any other show would've replaced the clutch and not mentioned it at all. They brought up a very real fact that if your car has some miles on it and you've been hot rodding it at all during that time, the stock clutch isn't going to like an additional 150hp and drag radials. It may not be the unhinged awesomeness that is Roadkill, but I'd rather have Hot Rod Garage and Roadkill alternating every two weeks, than Roadkill alone every four.
