Fag Boy Jim posted:GAB '95 actually wasn't terrible considering how bad WCW could be in 1995. A really rare good main event, too. Have they played GAB '96 yet? Because that was a loving great show. And yeah, GAB 2000 is real bad.

If they did, I missed it. They are showing the 2009 Bash later, which at least had a really good Rey/Jericho match in it. Also, GAB '89 is up on Monday, and that show is insanely good. I realize this is really silly since all of those are up on-demand, but gently caress it, I like putting the network live stream up when I'm doing work or studying sometimes. Fun to see godawful-era WCW stuff out of the corner of my eye, or when I relax for a few moments. Feels Villeneuve fucked around with this message at 22:36 on Jul 6, 2014 |

The more I watch of the last two years of WCW PPVs, the more amazed I am at how long Misfits In Action stuck around.

He was a terrible pretty much everything. That said, he might have been Heyman's crowning achievement in making chicken salad out of chicken poo poo.

Fauxhawk Express posted:People really thought Shane Douglas was a good promo? His ECW promos were very much a "right place, right time" thing. Which really describes a lot of ECW stuff. Heyman's genius was being able to know exactly what was needed at that second in history and capitalize on it. Even he's said that if given a promotion to run again, it would be nothing like ECW in it's heyday because the world has moved on.
