Not true. Love Live was conceived as a multimedia franchise from the beginning. It was always meant to encompass anime, game, music concerts, etc.

The official games etc will remain the same as they always were, so I don't see the decline in doujin stuff being produced as a major issue. Unless your favourite circle has started producing Kancolle music/manga instead of Touhou things nothing really changes, it just gives people who were worried about Touhou's dominance of comiket a new and fundamentally more deserving bugbear.

Last I heard, Kancolle fangames were the one type of fan product that Kancolle's creators had expressly forbidden, so that's the area that will change the least.

Doesn't really matter. A lot of people just make their own games and skin them Touhou to get sales. So the less popular it is, the less incentive they have to do so instead of making their own IP.

This is a thing to keep in mind. If someone switched all their new material/creations to Kancolle then they were probably never really cared about it in the first place. People go where the money is at (and Kancolle creators supposedly spend a ton purchasing from artists).

I haven't read a Warugaki manga in ages. Last thing I remember was wanting to see Yellow/Orange/Red once they were all out then stopping for some reason. Poor dude's old circle name's gonna haunt him to the end of the earth though. Nice to see Helepolis visit him again.
As for the latter part...eh...That does kinda explain Koishi's Magnum. But people are free to do whatever, still I'm surprised he did that given how volatile the internet is. Also he really loving loves guns.
