i'm intentionally being whiny in the OP, because this is yospos, arch actually breaks less than so-called managed distributions (for me)

the problem is they already know about the breakage, they just need a better way to warn people so they can make time before taking on a potential system breaking change

ubuntu trip report: slow as balls. mostly because it doesnt like my hard drive or controller and won't go any faster than udma1...a blazing 1.6 MB/s. probably a driver issue since SMART all checks out.

recently when i got latest mobo i had 2 run ubuntu live to see if my network card was hosed or if it was windows. turns out w7 didnt have drivers to run it natively. gently caress poo poo
