Here is my dog, Zee. She is small and evil. A terrierist. Just picking her up from the Humane Society, should have seen the signs... First time in the apartment: still destroying. gently caress Stuffed Pigs. Chewing other dogs like it ain't no thang. PT belts and Satan eyes. Hail the dark one! Terrorists are solar powered. She's lucky shes so adorable.

What's something to give a 13 year old who has a tummy ache? She won't eat her food. She even denied a wishbone! And she's just kind of lazy and not active like usual. I feel so helpless

Vet visit is on the way ASAP. My cousin has an on call vet that makes house calls and will be here this evening (hopefully) or first thing tomorrow morning. In the meantime I'm just trying to keep her hydrated but she can't keep anything down and mostly just refuses water completely. How do I make her drink? I stayed up with her all night to let her out every 20 minutes when she had to throw up. It got to the point where I couldn't keep up with her because I started passing out, so I let her in my room since it's tile and just bit the bullet and cleaned up whatever was there when I woke up. My roommate is on the way home with some Imodium and some baby aspirin. Is there anything soft on the stomach I can try to get her to eat? Yogurt or something? I'm admittedly new to taking care of a sick pup and I have no idea if I'm doing anything right. She is terrified of thunder and during storms she hides in the corner like she is in time out. It's kind of adorable. Until today because she's doing it because she is scared because she doesn't feel good. I was in tears about this earlier this morning. And gently caress you if you think that makes me a human being.

She is doing better. I gave her half an Imodium tab and managed to get her to drink some water. Then we napped for a couple hours and when she woke up she seemed to be doing a lot better; she was showing interest in things like normal. Still moving pretty lethargic though. I gave her a couple bites of some canned chicken breast since I've read that a bland diet is the best thing for her right now. She's managed to keep it down and right now she's resting on the couch right next to me. Other than that two hour nap she hasn't really slept since yesterday afternoon sometime so I know she's probably really sleepy. If she wakes up tomorrow and made it through the night without any issues I'll call the vet and tell her things are ok. Otherwise the vet is still coming out tomorrow at 11.

When my dog couldn't keep anything down, I started giving her bowls of broth. Canned pumpkin is hugely helpful for upset dogge stomachs.

When our boxer gets a stomach issue, we put him on water for a couple days (no food). Then give him boiled chicken and white rice. That's been our vet's advice every time he gets a case of the trots (usually from munching on a lego or something).

I've had her on a bland diet. She woke up today seemingly fine so I took her to the store with me just now. I think she's got some stored up energy from sleeping all day yesterday and last night because she drove me loving nuts in the car (like she usually would ).
