I don't really play video games anymore since I graduated high school but I'm curious. My brother used to play a lot but he says they are all the same thing these days. And just looking at it it seems like it's torn between bullshit big budget games that just churn the same poo poo out every year (CoD, Assassin's Creed, every Nintendo game) and bullshit indie games that suck (lol I don't know the names of any of these games). Plus apparently all the new generation consoles suck. So why do you loving nerds still play these bullshit things go play a sport or something

I haven't owned a system since the orginal NES. Last month I decided to google PS4 games in an effort to talk my self into going to a pawnshop to buy a PS4. There are no good games any more. It's all Call of Gear Fields Honor War 4 and Madden. Also those lovely indie games that you pay 30 bucks to download and it's a one hour romp through a game that looks shittier than the orginal Atari. "But the graphics are retro!" No. No they aren't. THey're just poo poo done by programmers too lazy to make real graphics.

I don't even know what games are good anymore, I don't own a console so I get all my games through Steam and I have so much good and bad poo poo that it all just kind of blends together in a gray blur. Plus I tend to buy games that are over a year old so I don't know about any good recent ones. gently caress it, just get Grand Theft Auto V. When in doubt just buy anything Rockstar puts out, that way you can play video games without really "playing video games".

Last game I played was Plague Inc. and that was fun for how simple it is. Before that was Bit.Trip.Runner 2 and that is pretty chill. Before that was Guacamelee , which was like a luchador themed side scrolling beat em up, and that was fun too. So I'd say were in a pretty good era of games. Not to mention I probably paid like 12-15 bucks for all 3.
