A lot of people take rap way too seriously. But it's not always like that. Which reminds me of something else from 10 years ago...

Ahh the good 'ol days of hyphy, when you either loved that poo poo and had tons of fun, or hated it and went into convulsions while bleeding from the ears if you heard it (which funnily enough, would be a legit way to dance to hyphy music).

produced by kanye, dj mustard and dj dahi? those are some pretty heavy production credits.

oh my god big sean's hook is hilarious hahahaha

edit: i like this song way better: https://soundcloud.com/bigsean-1/4th-quarter-prod-key-wane?in=bigsean-1/sets/big-sean. but that's mostly because i love key wane's production

The production is good but man Big Sean is just complete garbage in every way. I think the most positive I've ever felt about a verse of his is that it was unremarkable

DJ Mustard is so predictable, I'm shocked how he's the go-to guy right now. His music is unrepentant club fair. Club hiphop is starting to get like dancehall in how people aren't using the same beats but they sound like the exact same beats. I enjoy finding what's different between DJ Mustard songs.

Big Sean is the most unneeded rapper in the business.

french montana no question. at least big sean has the ability to occasionally make interesting music (and I would argue detroit is legitimately a good mix tape)

example: good big sean song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiYr95sI1rk

i have yet to find the mythical song that french montana does anything interesting in beyond riding a good beat

edit; also the legion of random terrible frat rappers that thankfully are never brought up in here but my friends seem to love. warning: this song is terrible

The sequels (I like 3>2) and black portland. The tape with Gucci has some great tracks but overall is a disappointment

I have been patiently taking spark's silence on twitter and poo poo as 'hopefully this means its dropping before the years end'.

Really dig all the tracks that've come out since #swoup especially stwncwb, the beat switch is def some top notch pp prod. i recall him saying on twitter a while back that'd he was makin sure he helped us all thru the dark winter times with that poo poo and im holding him to it.

e
looks like its gonna be dropped after kai's upcoming release maybe?
