I kind of zoned out a little in the parts that weren't directly about the house, but I would love to read the book again and really spend time with it. I couldn't last time because it was a library book and on short loan because it was so popular.

What's going on with that table, is that just a fold out in the middle that makes it longer?

Exactly that! The leaf folds in half and into the table. No more storing table leaves in the garage.

He's 18 and he's tiny compared to my other cats, and his fur is thinning. I think he gets cold in the evenings, so, I bought him a hoodie. He actually hopped up and laid nest to me purring after this.

This is a stock photo, so it's impossible to see that the ribbons are, of course, Federal Reserve green. They are also lined with deep red velvet and have gold embroidered stars on the insoles. I am considering lightly brushing gold-glitter, clear nailpolish along the heels, but I fear that might be like putting a tattoo on the Mona Lisa.

I got mine off eBay; they're also on Amazon uk and Amazon France

Two sellers currently have them on ebay:

Couple on Amazon

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=irregular%20choice%20gravitational%20pull

Dude I got them from on Amazon kept contacting me after the auction to nag me on a daily basis for feedback; I finally had to block him. (I usually do give feedback, especially with an excellent, fast shipper, but dude started to bombard me with GIVE ME FEDBACC within minutes of me buying the shoes, let alone receiving them.)

The shoes fit really close to size; I wear a UK6/EU39, and I have to wear them with thin tights. If you want to rock them with socks you might want to go a size up from what you normally wear -- it's the plush of the velvet lining that makes them a bit snug. They're comfy as gently caress, though, and they make me feel like a [old] lady pimp.

Ninja edit -- Amazon US has them, too (and in faux pony-fur with pink ribbons!)

Do not at any point cut something on a glass or ceramic surface with them or they'll be hosed. I know that goes for any knife, but a metal knife you might be able to re-sharpen or whatever. Ceramics instantly turn into trash with no recourse.
