Working for the inquisition. Most definitely not the only throne agent on board, because it's the inquisition. Trying to actively defy the inquisition while being under their scrutiny is not a particularly clever move. If you want to go rogue, wait until you have enough power to do it unnoticed.

The artifact, if she's telling the truth, came from the Family private stores. All sorts of weird things in there. The rest, yes :D

Roughly, Im interpreting the votes as the following, with the assumption that even if B or D wins, we are going to tell her A. Lemme know if that is not correct.

B x x x x x x x x

D x x

It's only Tek Heresy if a higher-up says so. Or it uses AI or is obviously Xenos.

Edit: Honestly what she's revealed here shows she's got a weak-as-gently caress hand to play with. We can use her as a catspaw in our plot against the Slimy One. Hell, I'd advocate sending Woodhouse to see what he can find about her so-called network and see if we can subvert it to our own ends.

You do have deceive and talent (deceive), and Amacita was rolling poor last session. Adepts aren't known for their social nuances, so you'll prolly make good on most any lie you attempt.

I'd rather keep going with the 'Weird tech priest who doesn't follow social convention so just go with it and don't unset the loony'.

I guess that would be a use for blather. Oh well.

VV But since we have deceive we can do it subtly: 'Hey, there's a piece of corn in your teeth, here, let me get it.' Mechanical tendrils writhe and make dental drill sound.

Lasgun to replace that lascarbine (75)
+ Laser sight because all guns are cooler with laser sights (50)

And this might seem like a radical suggestion: Ammo, since we have none (15/clip for the lasgun/carbine, 10/clip for the pistol)

We should also consider picking up Mechandrite Use at some point so we can start becoming doctor octopus.

We'll want to pick up training with them before we try using flamers. Let's stick with what we know for now: las-weapons and our growing menagerie of killer robots. We should buy ammo for our guns.

Do hellpistols use the same skill tree as las pistols? Can we get one? Also, how about armor? If we're going to suck at shooting things we can at least be good at getting shot.

Yes, hellguns are basic las weapons, so the skill we have. Basic hellguns/pistols are 180/140 respectively.

Armor wise I imagine the old standby enforcer carapace is the best we'd likely be able to find on short notice. That's 575 and would be 5AP (all) vs our current 3AP (Body only). We should definitely aspire to Dragon Scale some day, which is the techpriest specific power armor (and is 7500).

We're doing the whole infiltrator thing, so get a suit of Xeno Mesh w/ hood (4/all) [475] that can be hidden under Ohone's robes.

When it comes to a weapon it depends on whether Lowel will allows us to "trade up" our weapon's quality later through trade (armorer) tests or just spending the difference. If yes, try for a Dlaku Pattern hellgun [500] w/ compact mod [50]. Small enough to implant in the arm and tie to her internal power system, and scary enough to make even a mediocre shooter like her a terror. Once upgraded to good quality you'd hardly ever need anything else. If trade-in isn't allowed, grab a (relatively) cheap Minerva Aegis [150] until we get more thrones. Whatever we go with, we want high RoF.

In addition, there are a few sundries that we should pick up. Las Charge Packs x4 [60] & Pistol Charge Packs x2 [20] so we can actually shoot things, a Stummer [20] to silence our surroundings when we want to be sneaky, and an Explosive Collar [55] for reasons.

Total cost of 1180 if trade in is allowed, 780 if not.

They are lasguns, but massively reinforced and overcharged, usually used by elite troops. They are also usually paired with a battery worn on the back, as regular batteries run out too fast.

We aren't really combat focused. Flamers in Dark Heresy don't require any ballistic skill its just a cone of happy burning death.

I suggest we go buy a flamer. It is pretty much the go to weapon for non-combat characters. Either that or an autogun because if you put enough bullets towards a target at least one will hit.

Going against Limosa is a no brainer and going against the Magos might set off warning bells in her head since Limosa has a history of publicly bullying us but we've had no public problems with the Magos. Besides while the Magos playing around with the Dregs on the ship certainly isn't illegal and there are probably other members of the Family who are doing far worse.

Amacita is sketchy as gently caress though and we should be paranoid about it but we need to preserve our leads. If she's dumb enough to stand with what looks like a xenos or heretical artefact in plain sight then she's probably not the mastermind in the conspiracy.

Can we ask how she got access to the Family stores?

If we're looking at buying stuff then advanced tools but basic weaponry would suit our needs well. Asking around for highly specialised concealed weapons is going to draw a lot of attention to us whether we like it or not.

I'm not even sure how we'd go about acquiring weapons though on the sly though. Perhaps we can trade with the gangs in the Deeps or Merchants/Tech Priests/Grey Cloaks etc but we need to be sure that our purchases aren't going to be reported to Limosa.
