I've never really listened to them, I have one or two albums somewhere but I can't recall much other than they covered do you think I'm sexy. Due to this thread I've been listening to early KMFDM again a lot over the last couple of days, I'd literally forgotten that their earlier stuff was actually pretty drat cool so thanks guys!

Album wise big sexy land, live you goddamn son of a bitch, and to a lesser extent beers, steers, and queers. I think early revco was the only group to successfully pull off the whole buttrock/redneck industrial fusion thing without being too embarrassing. There are a few synthpop-like bands that I ran into along the way... For new stuff, I quite liked this Machinista song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XONkLtJMrt4 Then there was Echo Image, De/Vision if that counts, Iris, The Human League, Ladytron... Code 64 or Frozen Plasma if that isn't futurepop. But there's also a bunch more artists that I can't really remember because they sound samey, indeed.

Help I've been completely obsessed with Blutengel for the last couple of days and it's slowly but surely edging its way into my top ten list of favorite bands of all time Also whoever posted about Königin der Nacht being a perfect song like... last year? I think it was last year. You were right. Then again Chris Pohl has a pretty ridic amount of those under his belt.

I think it's safe to say people who are into Industrial are generally more into extreme and weird genres. And Outrun is to Synthpop what Death-Metal is to Rock & Roll.

I've actually played tracks from Brotherhood on the last couple episodes, I only did my third this week and I've yet to get set up on the website with my podcasted version of it, but I should be getting in touch with the webmaster for the station tomorrow. As for the site for the station itself it's chsrfm.ca. It does have a link to listen online, and my show is Thursday nights at 10:30 pm Atlantic time, and I'm going to apologize in advance for the fact that I called it "Something to do With Bats", I couldn't think of anything better to name it.
