The biggest gag isn't that "Lol look I can make Napoleon go bug-eyed" but "Oh my god all these historical figures were actually this loving ridiculous." Charles Babbage, Grandfather of the Computer, really loving hated organ grinders, and in his old age they'd specifically play in front of his house so he'd start yelling at them. Jules Verne had an actual irl crush on Edgar Allen Poe, and grew up reading his macarbe stories. History is loving hilarious if you go digging a little bit.
