it is good but not that good. btw I saw them the other night. i couldn't tell if they were good or not because the sound at the venue is so loving terrible i dont know why it is still open or why i even bother going to shows there anymore. seemed hype though. all i could really hear was noise though.

For a bit of background, they had an album out before together (or the group did), and Rob Sonic had a couple albums out on Def Jux that are pretty solid. I also think he was maybe in the Atoms family but not 100% sure (I know Hangar 18 were). But I'm always glad to see that a lot of the Def Jux dudes are still making good music. It's not THAT long ago, but rap dudes seem to pop up and disappear pretty rapidly (although I don't have much familiarity with rock stuff outside of largely big name dudes, so maybe it's just a music thing, idk)

Just finished the new Hail Mary Mallon and I like a lot more than their first album, which had some dope songs but veered too much into silly territory through out it. This one only has the fundraiser concert sketches that don't get too in the way. Skelethon was amazing so I hope Aes makes at least one more solo album.
