They did James Joyce years ago, and it was hilarious.

We know the current website for the podcast is awful and for some reason doesn't actually load anything past the front page for some people using Chrome. It's old and completely packed full of dumb band-aid solutions to prevent it from being constantly hacked. Lemon's rebuilding it into something quite nice. We expect to have it online by the end of the year.

I've found that "Open in New Tab" on the links, then closing the front page, works for the loading issue in Chrome. Good to hear I won't need to do that at some point in the future. Yay Lemon!

I recently discovered TF+ and after listening to a few random episodes, I'm beginning my trek down to the beginning. Live 3 was an experience, and I was elated to see Twisted read out after following the thread on it in The Book Barn. Edit: I was also told that I should save the adult baby episode for last, as it is the final boss of the internet. Confirm/Deny? Waffleman_ fucked around with this message at 00:58 on Nov 24, 2014 |

Also, it's been a long time since the adult baby episode and there's been plenty of episodes that have been just as offputting. I say you should go straight through and just cross that weird cum-obsessed bridge when you come to it. Otherwise it might get too built up and you'll wonder what the big fuss is when the dickbugs were way worse (or the ball-busters, or the foot fetishists, or any of the other weird kink episodes that might end up being weirder for you).

I say go straight from the beginning so that you can get a pretty continual rise in quality. I re-listen to F+ all the time while working, and I pretty much never go back to the first couple of years. It's worth listening to them all at least once, but those first two years were pretty weak compared to everything after. If you must skip around, I recommend the Dozerfleet episode (#121) and Amazon Recommends Kindleporn (#71). They're the episodes that I don't mind coming up on shuffle no matter how recently I last heard them. The 100th(ish) episode extravaganza is also really good. X-Ray Pecs posted:They said in the MRA episode that they don't want another one and people shouldn't send them docs for it, because the material is so horrible and disturbing. Also, I suspect it would probably be fairly same-y. They covered all the glorious colors in the MRA rainbow pretty well. It's not one of those things that's new when you make it slightly different, like terrible fan fiction.

The thing too with most of the other crazies is that they're sort of harmless. Gross as plush fuckers, adult babies, otherkin etc are they're not really hurting anybody and at worst might do something stupid in public. MRA's/PUA's are really loving awful scumsuckers that treat women worse than objects and at a point it stops being funny and gets really uncomfortable the more you see of them.

So I just went back to search the bug fuckers doc because I wanted to point to a specific part of it to tell you all how wrong you are that plushie people or sissy kiss were the worst. Turns out what I remembered as the worst part of the episode isn't in the doc at all, and I'm pretty sure I made it up. I don't know if that makes it better or worse. Better in that it's not as bad as I thought, or worse that it was so bad I started inventing new ways for it to be bad on my own.

I'd say that the top episode for me personally was the TV Tropes one (http://thefpl.us/index.php?option=c...dcasts&Itemid=1), it made me laugh from the beginning till the end and it perfectly encapsulates most non-sexual things the F Plus makes fun of.quote:This user is kind of a jerk (flipping off salesmen, using deathglare with reckless abandon to get people to move, and occasionally just running down underclassmen with a rolling backpack), wears fairly dark clothing (green, dark gray, and occasionally black if I am in a bad mood...Except for my trademark silver jacket, that coat's been through three JROTC camps, and four hunting seasons without taking any serious damage, it may very well outlive me. So I consider it a good luck charm/security item), and I hate people seeing my eyes, so I wear sunglasses on any day where it is not dark or rainy enough to render me nearly blind by doing so. BUT I don't hesitate to help the few people in this world who's existence I can actually tolerate for more then five minutes. And WILL DESTROY anyone who messes with them in the most effective manner possible (I obey all laws, however, you can't help your friends if you're doing 20 years for kicking a bully in the genitals). I think the ruling is that it can't just be MRAs and misogyny, there has to be more to it, and there has to be enough of that 'more' to be funny. PUAs get a tentative pass because even if they are misogynist as gently caress, they couch it in terrible dating advice and seduction techniques, which is funny by itself. As another example, take Gamergate. Misogynist to its core, but it's something more than that. It's also a bunch of stupid, deluded people who have an idea of what they want and how to get it, but haven't realized that both of those ideas are wrong and bad. I honestly think it's possible to compile a document on Gamergate, but it'd be a hard job to get material that isn't more infuriating than funny.

I'd probably introduce someone to the podcast with these episodes because they're so bizarre, pointless, and hilarious. STOG almost crying during the Pokemon vs Digimon debate is one of my favorite moments. I'd probably throw in Any Cling You Want (You Got It) as well, because it does touch on the weird sexual aspects of the podcast, but it's not the deep-end that most of the fetish episodes are.
