Yeah, that's loving bullshit, too Who rejects rope because it's too long?

Really pissed for them - they should have won this. They did nothing wrong whatsoever IMHO.

Very much this. Feels like crafty playing of the rules by the production team for drama.

It followed all the rules provided. Nowhere was it said that the skeleton had to be solid or assembled.

Sugar got caught out, plain and simple

It was a full height anatomical skeleton, as per the requested spec. How can it NOT be?

May 19, 2009

Why would it do that!?
I mean if you think about it both teams turned up with four complete full-sized anatomical skeletons.

Vague spec leads to contractor taking the quickest, easiest and (above all) cheapest route.

That's business!

Can tell that Sugar has been previously screwed in a legal battle by a lawyer in exactly that situation.

Felipe's mistake was thinking too much about the wording of what was written down rather than how it would be taken.

That old chestnut 'unwritten and uncommunicated client expectations'.

hermand

I think the other thing, though, is that in real life you have a context which gives a clearer expectation. Order a non specific wall for your garden from a builder and you won't get Lego bricks because the wall has to meet other guidelines and spec beyond yours and the courts will back you.

Phone around the shops asking for an undefined brick or block for an unspecified purpose and you'll get offered everything from Duplo to breeze blocks. None of them will be wrong because how they gently caress do they know it's for your garden?

Normally I would agree with this, but the items don't have any clear use. It doesn't matter what the skeleton is made of, as long as it fill the brief.

I know - that was the point I was making. Without context all they had was the spec!

Doug Sisk

Ones plastic, ones paper, neither are real skeletons. Between this one, and the other weeks 'whoever the hot-tub manufacturer likes the most wins' I think I am getting more annoyed at this series than any previous one. Suralan is getting more and more ridiculous. As he said on You're Fired, "his problem was he didn't do what I said." I thought that would be a good thing in a business partner.
Rant over. I don't know who the favourite is this series, I think all bets are off.
