I liked Conqueror back in the day and was excited to hear some of the guys kept going with Revenge. I bought a record of theirs from a local seller and he mentioned the new Archgoat coming out at the end of the month. I don't mind the little bit I've heard of them but any fans of these guys to say if anything they've done the last few years is worth while? Also looking for any recommendations in war metal with grindcore sound. Stuff like Teitanblood.

Is Volahn's new album worth a listen? I think the new Archgoat will be good, all of the preview tracks have been great. Good war metal/grind mix, also from NZ: https://trepanation666.bandcamp.com/ It's also worth digging round the NWN, Iron Bonehead and Dark Descent bandcamp pages. I'd strongly recommend the Adversarial/Antediluvian split and the Morbosidad/Peversor split. Also Bestial Raids are wickedly good.

Infernal War have grindy bits and will probably appeal in general if you like war metal, they don't really sound like Teitanblood though(but I don't hear much grind in Teitanblood anyway).
