Turn 10 It's the final round and anything can happen! Masseter, after all this time, gets off a successful heal! Marianus is looking to travel back in time for victory, but Mills Counter Spells him while a Housecat shocks him with a Lightning Bolt! Callahan wants to stop Mills's Counter Spell with one of his own, but he himself is Counter Spelled by Ernie! Cogblight activates his Stab routine and goes to town on Mills and Ernie, the two successful Counter Spell casters. POPOPOLIS does something unseen, but turn 5 warps itself such that he Shields himself, taking a massive reduction of 7 damage! It looks like he's going to win, but Jibbles goes back in time and changes his Share Pain to the Geocitiesmancer. In the end, everyone's frenzied actions result in the victory of #1 Wizard Mills. Notes: If MARIANUS final manipulate time had succeeded, Housecat would have won. If Housecat had healed himself instead of Lightning Bolting MARIANUS, it would have been a tie and they would have entered SUDDEN MAGICAL DEATHMATCH. 9 players is way too many, even with the internet. 3-5 is the sweet spot, just like real life play.
