Genos did win some fights. Just not against anything that actually mattered. Appropriately, those fights he lost were way out of his league (and just about everyone else who wasn't named Saitama who was on scene), so no Worf effect was invoked.

I loved this chapter in the original and Murata has done a great job with it though it's hard for him to top ONE when it comes to the intentionally crude art moments. That said, I love how much he's proved the physical setting. In the original it looks like some weird courtyard/void. I can't wait to see what's about to come.
