That's how I've been doing it since I've been playing. The dodge button on the left might as well not exist, but then I haven't even tried to use an Angel Evade yet. Fake Edit: I just tried it in the shop and what the hell is the point of this.

There's not even specific situations to use it in, when a demon dodge wouldn't be preferable. --- I finally figured out what's been bugging me about the final boss's moveset - he never actually uses a basic combo. And he's actually got less overall moves the his equivalent, despite gaining more unique moves. I know it's quality over quantity, but it is a DmC boss - there is no quality.

I keep fingers on all of the shoulder buttons and triggers, so one dodge button wouldn't be a problem.

This is one of those things I didn't understand until I discovered recently that most people use one finger to operate both r1 and r2. I just use one finger on each :o Also this is something I was kind of expecting based on some stuff I had heard from ninja theory bros, but I'm surprised by how comprehensive the walkback is. I'd definitely give it another go on PC if they ported.

I've tried it, and found in general I want my index finger for the analogue trigger, not my middle finger. Finer control, for me, if needed.

They only used the single skull, instead of having one side have a demonic skull, and the other a human. Plus, I was personally annoyed with the size, as it should have been longer, and going with wood for the handle just irked me.

Man at Arms was the same group who made that lovely looking buster sword, right? The Rebellion sword looks weird with the wooden handle. GameSpot has published some DmC Definitive Edition gameplay, though given they don't really use any of the new options available, I kind of question the point of the video. Still, if anyone cares: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zffdFZY-ve8

The bloody palace one is turbo. It looks slightly faster. Maybe 20% or about there, so the same as the DMC turbo. Would be better if they made a double turbo mode so it can get DMC fast.

They also extended the ending cutscene so instead of ending on Dante's eyes turning red, he instead walks off with Kat and slowly slides his hand down to grab her arse as they walk into the sunset. Sure, why not.

I thought you were kidding but I just saw the clip on Youtube and it's so bad. Did they change the entire ending cutscene then? Because despite the mediocrity that was DmC's storyline I don't see how that fits with everything that happens before.

that's stupid, but then the whole game is - and it suits the character they announced when the game was first advertised, but I don't think it suits the Dante at the endgame, because him and Kat didn't have much of a chemistry between them. Then again, the video cuts off abruptly, so maybe she shakes his hand off or something.
