Hey, new intro! Could not decide yet if i like it better or not.

There were a lot of great scenes in this episode. The aforementioned Chayton just owns the screen every time he is on. Burton burtoning some stupid idiots. The bonding between Nola and Carrie by beating up an other idiot might be the most perfect mix between :clint: :swoon: :3: and :black101: ever. Stowe gave me a reaaaally creepy vibe and reminded me of the bad guy from the second Die Hard movie.
But what stood out the most to me was the "humanization" of Kai Proctor which stood out even more as it was contrasted by showing Rebecca growing more and more ruthless. This can't end well for her.

And who else automatically started an internal "when is she gonna gently caress with Hood"-clock in their head the second the female Reservation-deputy appeared on screen?

This episode felt a bit off especially with the new intro but it was good to see all little the side stories like Stowe still trying to deal with the loss of his unit and Proctor looking after his mom :3:

Not sure if I read the scene wrong but did Chayton deliberately send his men to die? He stopped his brother from going and only sent two guys armed with knives to assault Proctor's heavily defended home but on the other hand, if Chayton himself had gone, I think he would have easily been able to kidnap Proctor and Rebecca undetected.

Stowe is intense as gently caress.

Would also watch a spinoff of Nola and Carrie, assuming it aired after the Job and Sugar spinoff.

Nah, they need someone who knows the ins and outs of the evil white people too. Hood took a shine to him, I'd bet on him joining up by mid season.

His "hold onto that" line had me thinking that maybe he knew about a retaliation hit from the neonazis or something that was going to happen. I'm kind of expecting the new guy to get killed/shot in the next few episodes with the way things are going, so maybe he'll just take his place.

I'm actually hoping Deputy Raven doesn't die. First, because we've just met him. And second, he's one of the handful of Native Americans on this show actually played by a Native American.

I've been bingeing through this show since Monday thanks to that great OP. I've had MaxGO for a while but never had any interest in their original series because I thought it would be terrible B movie-grade. How wrong I was. It's like I wrote this show when I was 15.

The CGI is so terrible in some spots, it comes back around to endearing.

And the graphic on the site made me think it was animated for some reason.

E: I also love Wire actors on other shows for some reason, and Burrell as Sugar is just perfect.

E2: Holy poo poo Hood just decapitated Not-Jason-Statham with a jackknifing semi-truck. This show is absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way.

E3: VVV I think I mean green screen.

This is basically the whole new problem for Banshee:
Is this guy gay? He's wearing a PINK SHIRT but also a bow tie. He's MAD gay, and statistically, gay men are much more into bdsm than heteronormative men. Why is that? Who gives a poo poo.

He murdalyzes people, and he's bad at laundry. Because the shirts were white originally and he forgot to use oxi-clean in the wash and all the blood turned the shirts pink.

I would like to see more go into a back story on him though, beyond the 'Origins' 2-minute video. Or maybe he's better as a mute killing machine, I can't decide.

Brantley died as he lived: excessively.

And my only complaint about the Nola / Burton throwdown is that it seems like a waste of her character. And yet, what a way to send her off, goddamn.

I was shocked. The fight was badass. I liked the flashbacks for them both but drat I'm going to miss her. Wish she had ran for it at one point to fight another day. loving Burton though, that guy is just on another plane.

I barely remembered the Burton/Nola fight happened because of all the poo poo that happened afterward. Brantley could have been a major villain on this show and they killed him off in hilarious fashion before the third act.

I'm not sure there's a single other show on television with the balls to do the episode they did tonight. Goddamn.

I thought it was pretty pointless. There's no tension in a Proctor/Kinaho conflict if season after season Proctor has been always winning and the Kinaho always losing. Burton should have died, or been severely injured, just to deprive Proctor of his presence.

And yeah, Nola was pretty wasted. There was a lot of room for to explore her with Chayton, or with Carrie/Job and the crew.

Odette Annable is a lead on another show and with Banshee being filmed way out in the countryside I doubt they could have had her on for longer. Burn twice as bright and all that. Towards the end of the fight I kind of thought Burton would spare her as a fellow troubled soul but it was not meant to be.

I hope Brock and his ex get a chance to talk about the crazy day they had at work.

When Mom Proctor made Kai promise to get Rebecca out of the house, was it because she thought he was a bad influence or because she knew they were  The former makes more sense, but the latter works too because her tone was pretty disgusted and upset. And of course this is Banshee so it's probably the latter.

If this was any other show, and he wasn't Burton, he'd be loving toast.

ne: Burton does seem to have a knack for being severely injured and just not quitting. He's like a loving pink-shirt-and-bowtie-wearing Terminator.

In fact, goddamn, he reminds me exactly of a loving Terminator from the movies. Never talks, survives grievous injury that no actual human could handle, kills.

There were about three and a half seconds there where I actually thought Matthew Rauch was under that fat suit. It made no sense, he was too tall, and the eyes were wrong, but for some reason I just wanted the show to be flat out cheeky enough to try and pull it off anyway.

Also, either things don't bode well for Lotus' ex, or she's now one of the safest women in Banshee.
