On that note, could any team have their cars bright red? Or is that an exclusive colour scheme to Ferrari?

In the past several teams have used red schemes very similar to Ferrari, although none in past 2 decades.

Me too, though the Total red kinda clashes. Not nearly as bad as the Petronas puke green ruins the silver arrows though.

It wasn't though, and some of those cars had very good aero.

Ferrari's worst period was the early 1970s, when they were in crisis to an extent that they missed GPs and killed their factory sportscar program.

Bad cars. Maybe it's just me but it seems recently they've been wayyyy off the pace of the leaders. Keep in mind even in the supposed "bad years" Ferrari seldom finished lower than 5th, aside from 1980 iirc.

It's completely anecdotal but from the German F1 fans I talk to (on the internet), that's basically true. The Germans loved Schumi and don't give a poo poo about Vettel at all.

German friend of mine likes Vettel, but hates the German commentators who apparently freaks out whenever they talk about him, like James Allen used to do with Hamilton.
