Everyone's Playing!

I want to be on the No Dice List.

Also, I just saw a "tonight on the Late Late Show" ad plugging Jim Gaffigan, but they still had Craig's name on the logo.

The CBS promo department isn't the best in the world. For almost an entire weekend recently a promo for the last ran season of Survivor aired footage from a program 2 years prior.

The only thing in common was the Blood Vs. Water theme and it was a double eviction.

I've watched a fair bit of The Voice and I really can't telling if Blake Shelton's whole "clueless old white dude" routine is legit or if he's just trolling us.

Regis Philbin is doing The Late Late Show this week.

From New York.

Does he have a guest/has it been announced who it is, yet?

Because that could be great, but it would really depend on the guest(s)!

Letterman's on tomorrow night; tonight includes Martin Short and Annie Lennox. Tony Danza, Alan Alda and Susan Sarandon are listed for tonight, but that's probably changed due to the shitstorm blizzard.

Also, no monologue. Cold open was him joking that Les Moonves vetoed his request for a big set and told him not to put his feet up on Charlie Rose's desk.

With the first guest, by the end I wasn't sure if it was a guest or a skit. Then the other guests came on. Nope, that's just how this dude interviews.

I know everyone who hosts a talk show at 12:30 jokes about how low the production values are, but these guest hosts have this super low rent feel to them, I haven't decided if it's offputting, hilarious, or sad. It might be a little of all of them. The one episode of Gaffigan I watched seriously felt like some dude in his living room, hanging out with his family and friends, the next dude was great because he's a producer who apparently knows everyone in Hollywood rather than a talk show personality. Regis is Regis. And now there's a blizzard so they have to make due with whatever, and whoever, they can find in the building, and they ended up with some intern and his buddy.

Strength and speed, that's why you're a special agent.
Adam Pally was incredible, it's like a they broke into the Today Show set to record their public access program.

I doubt any of this is sustainable but these short bursts of random hosts have the potential to be incredible television until James Corden settles into it being a proper show again.
