I'm seeing Eng v NZ in the pool matches and the Wellington quarter-final. I loving hate limited over cricket, and the Wellington stadium is a real poo poo spectator experience. Hooray!

I'm going to England v Afghanistan and the quarter final at the scg.

Let me start off with a basket of chips. Then move on to the pollo asado taco.
Grabbed tickets to the final, don't really care who is playing it'll be awesome to be at.

E: who was the big fat guy who played for the Sixers last year? Was going to say Cosgrove but he is Thunder and has hair, pretty sure I remember this fat guy being bald.

According to wiki, average home ground attendance for strikers this year (as of the 12th) has been almost 36,000. Holy poo poo.

e: almost 40,000 if you include the last game.

e2: attendance for the Hobart ODI was 11,000 while the average for the Hurricanes this season was almost 14,000. Hmmm

Our review identified changes needed to be made and, in Stephen, we have a coach who has a reputation for demanding the highest standards.
I missed out on the opening game, and the Christchurch knockout game, but will likely go to the others in town - West Indies v Pakistan & England v Scotland I think?

I basically live on the road eden park is on so I will watch at home and pretend like I'm there.

Also I'm interested to see how Kyle Mills goes today. I think we got our selection right but Mills over Henry is a question mark for me.

BBL appeals mostly to young families and so I'd say yes, they've done a pretty good job of differentiating teams with brightly coloured clothing and seem to sell a lot of merchandise.

Crowds have been huge this year.

The crowds have been mental this year. I dunno what they changed, but I have been more engaged this year than the others.

I was at the Scorchers/Stars game during the week, was really surprised how many people were there. LOTS of kids in their green gear, and they go crazy at every six and wicket the home team gets. It really reminded me of being at a baseball game.

I'd imagine is the revamped Adelaide Oval thats done the trick, all the AFL games had at least 40k last year.
