It's weird, we almost see that level of detail in the front wings now but in the 2008 "let's throw a winglet on every single bit of car" the front wings are the simple two teir design.

I know it was mandated in the rules but.....weird.

It looks like your mom. A beautiful, graceful machine. Fertile and in heat with appropriate levels of white throughout its slender yet complex body supported by four black tires and driven by a Pole.

I say keep things interesting. Let them go all-out on aero one year, then take it away next year and make them use big fat tires for mechanical grip. Then change it up the year after that again. Keeps things interesting for manufacturers, gives different drivers a chance to shine, and gives us new things to whinge about every year.

You know what? I think that to make it even more special, the specifics for the next season's rules should be determined by some kind of dice roll at the podium for the final race. The WDC gets to roll, so he can be blamed by everyone when things go wrong.

Aero Dice: 1) All out; 2) Small wings; 3) Mandatory viking horns... etc.
Engines: 1) V6 turbo; 2) V8 turbo; 3) V8 NA; 4) 6.0L V12 NA (no rev limit) ... etc.

Bring back refueling but make sure it's not mandatory. Create some ultra hard sets of tires that can last an entire race but not at the expense of tire changes entirely.

I wrote it months ago. Please use in the 2015 season opener, thanks.

2015.
It was the dawn of a new age.
Honda has returned to Formula 1.

Ron Dennis hopes to rekindle the unholy alliance that dominated the sport from 1988-1991. No stone was left unturned at McLaren after Ron Dennis took back the reigns. The weak (Sam Michael) were culled and the strong (Podromou) were poached. The former head aero genius at the no good cheating drink company's rolling marketing now controls the winds at a proper racing focused engineering team.

Ron Dennis' final coup to bring it all together on track was liberating Fernando Alonso from the stifling incompetency of a Spaghetti team.
In an uncharacteristically smart decision, most likeable British Tory racing driver Jenson Button was retained to be his team mate.

Click bait article from The Telegraph claiming that Vettel almost left F1 last season.

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel considered quitting Formula One last year, says Christian Horner posted:

Christian Horner, Red Bull's team principal, revealed last night that Vettel, who will drive for Ferrari this season, became so disenchanted with the sport in 2014 that he toyed with hanging up his gloves aged 26.
Vettel has been a vocal opponent of F1’s switch to more fuel-efficient engines. He also endured the ignominy of being outclassed by his fresh-faced team-mate, the Australian Daniel Ricciardo, who won three races. Horner said: “There was probably a stage last year where he thought about whether he wanted to stop or not, whether he was getting the same level of enjoyment and whether he wanted to continue.
“He was just unhappy with the direction F1 had gone in. The previous four years had been so successful for him, with a car that he loved driving, then suddenly things were very different. It raised questions he had to deal with. He went back to basics, he drove a kart in the middle of the year, and got back to the essence of why was he a grand prix driver and rediscovered his passion for it.”
.

Also for those of you planning to attend the :britain: British Grand Prix :britain:

Meanwhile, executives at Silverstone have made good on their pledge to slash the ticket price of the British Grand Prix by a third to £99, but only for 1,000 tickets. They go on sale at 9am on Wednesday.
