After thinking maybe she'd finally disappeared, and not watching TV for quite a while, I see that the annoying Dump Cake lady is back with a sequel: Dump Dinners. The food looks okay I guess, but I'm not too keen on eating anything with "dump" in the name. There's a million other names they could call it, but with the way "dump" is used every other word it's pretty obvious the name is the selling point.

There's a mattress store near me called the sleep doctor, and for a while they had a pretty godawful radio ad campaign. They changed the the words to Robert Palmer's "Bad case of loving you" and had a weird sounding guy sing it so it was like: Sleep doctor Tell me the score... Can you get me to the Land of Snore?! Land of Snore. Seriously. It played quite a lot and just struck me as about the laziest, dumbest, and most nonsensical rhyme ever. Didn't quite fit the beat of the song either. Must have been about 5 years ago. I just remember that lazy rear end jingle and the fact that later ads mentioned (the now nonexistent) "landofsnore.com" so they must have thought it was pretty drat clever.

The Texas Hammer ad I actually saw was a little worse. The "clients" featured were yelling too and I'd swear the Hammer himself was yelling louder too.

The Snuggle soft ("national snuggle day" or whatever they're calling it) bear puppet commercial that's just started popping up on Hulu is absolutely cringe worthy, from the poo poo puppetry, to the awful rewritten songs, all the way to the I love you " At the end.

If so this commercial was playing during a Criminal Minds rerun, where his character was a twisted child rapist/murderer ("The Pact" season 8, episode 2).
