I forgot the UAE was in this world cup. My fondest world cup memory of the UAE was in 1996 when they played South Africa. Their opening batsman figured it would be a good idea to face Allan Donald wearing a hat. That didn't last very long.

What is everyone thinking at the moment anyway? Haven't had a lot to go on but I think the top four from Pool A will be pretty clear. The Windies are going to give the associates in Pool B a real sniff at quarters, though.
