I am kind of the in the same situation. Both Fox and Kid are very expensive either digital download or in cartridge form, but I definitely want Starfox 3D. Sadly, I only have 1200 coins, so I am not going to get enough for both even with doing the free downloads unless I buy a bunch of crap that I don't want, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I'm not crazy about Icarus like I am Starfox, though I do have the old NES version, so I am just going to get Fox and 2 older VC games. That's still a good exchange for my coins, and I still have my Platinum reward to look forward to. I hope that they post those soon.

I haven't bought them yet but the Nier soundtrack is legitimately and 100% honestly one of the most stunning video game soundtracks I've ever listened to. I'm not biased-- I think that game is mediocre as hell. These two songs are pro-tier purchases.

Is there a demo for Uprising? I should try it, but I've watched gameplay videos and so on, and frankly I'm not terribly impressed. It looks fine enough, but it doesn't grab me like some games do. Star Fox 3D is a refined version of a classic game that I love, and given that it's at least $35-40 for either a digital or cartridge version or 700 units of imaginary currency that are only good for buying games, that's a good trade. So far, I haven't seen anything to sell me big on Uprising.

The 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus tweaks the controls and jump mechanics so that it's actually playable. The game only frustrates when it's supposed to! (see above)

I went from never getting past the first dungeon in the NES version (neither as a kid or an adult) to beating the whole game over a couple of sessions.

So I bought Knytt Underground on the sale since as it turned out it was not a game I already owned from some indie bundle or whatever. Hadn't really looked much into it before, but the trailer made it look like a pretty sweet mix of Knytt and Within a Deep Forest.

It's pretty great but chapter 1 and 2 are kind of just long tutorials for chapter 3 which is like 7 times the length of the rest of the game.
