My guess is that they actually performed the dance correctly, and the last step is a show of dominance.
I think the last panel is always blank and they're supposed to add a new move to the dance, making it longer and longer each generation.

It's the panel where the monkey mating dance ends and the brutal monkey mating begins.

That's a good explanation but the translation makes it sound like there was placeholder for it and it was particularly removed. It's probably nitro-related.

It might be explained like this:

Step 1
Step 2
[ ]
Party

(Years pass)

Step 1
Step 2
Step 3 <- Used to be blank
[ ] <- party was here
Party

So there will always be a mark and it is 100% intentional.

They're going to have to look into the inverted color dimension to see it, like Toriko did with Komatsu's heart.

At the time Komatsus heart got Candlejacked they all couldnt sense or find it either.

For the blue ones, probably something that has to be expressed with scientific notation.

At this point capture levels might as well go out the window. People can stun the entire planet, single swings of arms destroy satellites from the ground, hearts can be pulled from living bodies into nether worlds.

Granted, levels are for animals not people, but with this power creep, numbers seem to be quickly lacking the ability to describe animals strength in the gourmet world. Were on our 2nd king already, and "unbeatable" blue nitro to come. I just don't see how the current system stays relevant due to the ridiculous power creep

Yeah like even the "incalculable" ones came back later with like 6,870 or some poo poo. Guys, we're not even in the tens of thousands yet. We can easily get into the millions.

The final episodes of the anime, if I recall correctly, were like if instead of doing the normal thing where they make up an arc to buy time to catch up to the manga, they decided to just go balls to the wall and explode the entire series with a huge load of TNT.
