I hope there's an upcoming patch to unfuck the latest PC patch because I just decided to replay Claire's chapter to look around for collectibles and poo poo and after playing it under the highest settings with zero lag on the first go around, I now get lag in areas even with settings near their minimum and online raid mode is still borked. I'm having fun with it but I can't believe this is so unoptimized.

So far I'm not super impressed with Wesker in the raid mode. He only gets 2 guns until 45, his passives unlock path sucks for quite a while, he's super limited on non-inhereted active actions, and he has the single best passive skill in the game to compensate for all of this. His melee is nice and quick, but also has the shortest recovery time of all the characters so he really doesn't *need* the dodge canceling the way the others need it. Right now I'll get him to level 20 and inherit his dodge canceling out and then I'm basically done with him. On the other end of the spectrum, I'm quite liking Hunk and Clair in Mercenaries. Hunk is just an unending hail of bullets thanks to early access to scavenger and 4 guns by default (as well as the best grounded enemy finisher in the mode) and Clair gets a really useful Halo style shield at 18 that she can inherit out to others. And then there's Gina, who spaz-dances zombies to death, which is quite possibly the greatest skill to hit a Resident Evil post game mode in quite a while.

Which is really loving weird considering his hand was modeled correctly for those animations in RE5. Speaking of, I dug out my copy of it and got everything redownloaded on my PS3. My old save was lost but I can still do Mercenaries reunion for now. I may try and pull some goons together tomorrow to play. Speaking of RE5 comparisons: I can't help but think that RE5 looked better than this, even while factoring that I'm playing Revelations on a PS4. I can't fault it on that front too bad considering it's a sequel to what started as a DS game, and it's budget priced.

I – and many others – have had the exact same problem as you, so at least take comfort in the fact that it's nothing on your end. I think it's an error with the pre-order – if you look at your downloads the pack is probably still listed as an item that is waiting to be unlocked rather than a download. Hopefully it gets fixed when chapter 2 comes out.

Five medals on raid levels. I'm more excited for the next episode for the new levels than any story. Also, dodge canceling feels so wrong but at the same time it's saved my arse a ton of times when it comes to reloads and the like. I feel dirty using it.

I think the character Cipher is bugged or something in this game, as the character will not unlock for me. Also I noticed when I play this game in windowed mode I get less framerate drops.

Gina's Gesticulate skill lets her knock down, and damage, enemies with gestures. It's not a ton of damage but it's hilarious and an almost guaranteed knockdown.

450 Raid medallions can only be gained when later episodes unlock, unfortunately. The max you can earn right now is about 270, I think?
