If it's affordable I might just go for Destruction and Arsis, see what's up with Sepultura, and then leave if they aren't doing it for me. But on principle gently caress them for even continuing to use the name and calling it a 30th anniversary tour when they have one original member. It's one thing to be like Napalm Death and have no original members because you're a loose collection of personalities and then settle into one line-up. It's another to keep going when the people whose vision have been gone for a decade or more.

Going back a bit, but thanks for Nordick for recommending Monument. Just the sort of Iron Maiden worshipping, fist pumping stuff I was looking for. Simple, but highly effective. And to go with the CD arriving, I have the day off so I can sit around air guitaring in my front room without anyone else around to judge me (apart form my cat...)

Caught the Tribulation/Aeon/Behemoth/Cannibal Corpse show last night. I missed Tribulation, but Aeon knocked it out of the park. It was my first time seeing Behemoth since Nergal got sick, and wow, I think they had more energy than any time I've ever seen them. One of my favorite live bands. Cannibal Corpse also played the show. If you've seen them before in your life, well, it's basically that every time.

So I guess some band called Nuclear Hellfrost is getting a ton of hate for doing something related to Dimebag's grave or some poo poo. Then it turns out it wasn't really them and just some old vocalist and some pics floating around of a different band and a bunch of inbreds are sending death threats to them. I happen to know some guys that are associated with Nuclear Hellfrost and the redneck Pantera brigade is sure trying their damndest to look as horrible as possible by threatening rape and death to people (or their girlfriends/family) that even try to defend Nuclear Hellfrost on Facebook or other social media sites. Way to make sure people think of your false Idol as highly as you idiots do! The picture that has been floating around of a band "pissing" on a mural of Dimebag is actually a death/black metal band from Texas named HOD, and they are awesome. Of course this fact still isn't stopping the Pantera troglodytes from claiming it's Nuclear Hellfrost and trying to poo poo on their reputation even further. It's all really, really stupid and "heavy metal journalist" sites like MetalSucks and Metal Injection sure did try their best to push the issue out there without even knowing all the facts, but what can you really expect from sites that now rely on clickbait in order to get views?

I'm willing to bet the people featured within do in fact stink  For real though to me those types are the worst part of being a metal head. I work with an older metal head who still holds a grudge against Halford because how dare he be gay and good at something he enjoys. I mean, the nerve of some people! Lucky for me I tend to go see doom bands or bands with a reputation for being fun I don't run into it as much.
