Well we stole one off the street from 911, lost the wanted level, and every time we drove up to the station they all went nuts and started shooting us. So we just gunned down every cop and snatched the list and booked it in the cop car, lost another wanted level, and didn't have to do the jerry can part.

I started out trying to get the "kill 20 players" thing for the daily goals, and the 3 guys i was using for it kept coming at me, so i ended up just going on a loving rampage. spent probably 50 grand on insurance for their vehicles, and $20k in ammo, but it was so much fun.

I don't know why I didn't consider this, but it turns out you can stop by an ammu-nation during the Prison Break heist as the prisoner to pick up weapons, making things much easier. You'll have to rebuy them though, repeatedly if you end up restarting. I don't know if it saves bought weapons if you buy them before the checkpoint though.

the last time we did it, we couldn't go near the police station without getting a star and getting shot at. We ended up just shooting in/shooting out. Uh, apparently on the final getaway of the last heist, once you're through the tunnel you can skip every checkpoint in the mountain and ride straight to the boat. I have no confirmation but I'd really like to try tomorrow if anyone's feeling experimenty. Oh also the musket takes the doors off an armored Kuruma in one shot,

I think we need to make a Rockstar Support Ticket regarding the Flare Gun: "20 rounds isn't enough, I have to stop every ten minutes or so to get more flares, please up the number to at least 100." The few moments after we leave an ammunation and all get into an armored car to go look for pubbies is always a magical, flare-filled time. Looks like loving carnivale coming down the street in an assault vehicle that is incredibly broken. The number of times a pubbie has tried to blow up my Insurgent while it's bearing down on them and the explosion kills them instead is approaching the dozens.

I wish heist invites indicated somehow if it was someone from your crew sending the invite or just a pubbie. I'd be more inclined to join one of the 30 invites I get every 5 minutes if I knew I was playing with goons rather than ending up with three mute pubbies.

I was busy this weekend, I hope that the novelty of heists won't wear off before I get a chance to join in. I've been working on getting a more consistent way of saving the police uniforms. I found that playing the Adversary Mode -> Siege Mentality IV works the best. The player in the police uniform needs to enter a vehicle and drive it and then the player in the criminal costume leaves the rooftop to trigger the out of area timer. The match will end, and at the voting screen vote to go to free mode. Every time I have done this and started a capture from quick jobs, I have appeared in either the police or criminal outfit. If it is the criminal outfit, don't change anything and wait for a second round if there is one. You will switch to the police uniform in that round. Switch glasses, finish and return to free roam. Save outfit at clothing store.
