Don't know if this is exactly what people are looking for, but the only way I've found to send PSN level invites is by going to either the Crew or Friends menu and selecting someone and hit "Send Invite". That's the only way I've ever been able to join friends in private lobbies.

13 person race around the horse track, half on dirtbikes, half in cars. one guy in a monster truck/ half way through some of the cars turn around and gun for the bikes. pretty much the most fun thing ever I slipped through in the last checkpoint and won some how, but the whole thing was chaos.

Just want to say if you aren't playing these on hard when you have a team of people with mics or at the very least, you're doing yourself a disservice. Basically all of Trevor's heist is just a copy of story missions. Not that I mind for the most part since they're still fun, but that means only 1 or two of the heists are actually new ideas.
