Well mate a white fella wouldn't complain about being racially abused, he'd laugh it off and go back to work.

Is this theory coming from somewhere other than bigfooty?

Coming from Lachie himself.

quote:

It is believed Hunter met with AFL integrity department officials on Thursday to explain his role in a bet placed on Saturday’s NAB Challenge match between the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne.

The 20-year-old informed Bulldogs officials of the incident at half-time on Saturday, immediately after becoming aware a bet had been placed on the match, from his betting account, by a Footscray VFL player.

That player is expected to appear at AFL House on Friday.

Meanwhile, Bulldogs players started arriving at training on Friday morning around 8am, ahead of their scheduled 10am session.

Captain Bob Murphy was tight-lipped on the situation, other than to say the matter would be further discussed during the day.

"I'm just going to get into the club and probably have a couple of meetings I guess," Murphy said.

"I've known (about Hunter) for a few days."

The club’s head of football Graham Lowe has spoken to AFL integrity officer Brett Clothier.

The bet is believed to be a $10 multi-legged bet which also included soccer matches.

Melbourne remains the best friend of narcoleptics everywhere.

Essendon supporters are surprisingly cocky for a team that's got a 1-4 record against Melbourne.

It brings out the Richmond in us when we can say "ok they may have beaten us the last x number of times but surely this time! I mean they're Melbourne FFS" and then, we lose again.

It's imo the most bizarre running record in the league given the performances of the two teams over it.

Not to disparage Melbourne or Essendon, but when I saw the Friday games, GCS and Brisbane was the one I was more looking forward to watching.

But at least it's close.
