This has become one of my favorites because they gleefully just freewheel through things from moment to moment. Listen as a discussion of entirely unrelated games turns into theories that Albert Wesker is secretly the gaming equivalent of Randall Flagg. Top Score It's a weekly show where host Emily Reese interviews people involved in composing the music for video games. It's a bit public radio-y, for obvious reasons, but it's an interesting look at a side of games that doesn't get much real attention. I like Draft Souls as a general gamescast. Hosted by Matt Lees who wrote for a couple places in the past, but I know from the tabletop game site Shut Up and Sit Down. People who were talking about enjoying Scottish accents last thread would be wise to try this one out, lots of the guests are Scottish. I'll also toss out a recommendation for Justice Points, which I found to be a much more enjoyable alternative to what Isometric was supposedly offering up in that they talk about games and are women who care about feminist/social justice issues. Spawn on Me seems cool but I really can't handle the long rear end conversational format casts like this and Giant Bomb. Anyone have any solid board game casts they like?

BigSushi.fm is a long running high quality cast containing mostly interviews with game developers. Digestive Tract is their more casual discussion cast, and is worth a listen if you dig their personalities from the interview shows.

And a lass from Northern Ireland. It's a good intro to accents at any rate. I find Daft Souls to be all over the place tonally speaking. One week it's pretty level-headed and insightful, the next it's 40 minutes of guests calling people cunts and making poo poo jokes. It's hugely dependent on who the guests are and it's almost an entirely different podcast with certain groups.

Loved the crate and crowbar this week. The normally unflappable Graham gushing over the possibilities of valve VR. Then Chris hilariously ranting about how hotline miami 2 is the worst in minute detail and ruining his life (despite loving the original). I'm only part way through thumbs, skylines great.

I don't usually like the skits, but the COD one was pretty great. The episode got me interested in a game I'd otherwise pass off, so that's cool. Also, the latest episode of Check It Out Comrade convinced me to buy Hotline Miami 2 after hearing mixed opinions about it. I only just finished Hotline Miami 1 a week ago and I figure if the sequel is that hard it's best to jump into it while my skills are sharp. You guys were right. The pause screen is fantastic.

I like that you felt compelled to include Laser Time, because Chris Antista is easily one of my favorite podcasty type peoples to listen to, at least when he's not busy wallowing in self-pity (cheer up you gross farty hairball). I am so excited for the Bloodborne episodes of BFSC to start up. The game is loving incredible and 10 hours in I'm enjoying this every bit as much as I did the original Dark Souls. I actually enjoy this environment, the weapons and theme even more.

What they really need to is get Michael Grimm and Anne Lewis on more, at least they actually make some jokes.

There is no future in which I play Bloodborne on the table right now, so I'm going to have to pull BFSC off my rotation indefinitely and try not to feel resentful when it inevitably keeps coming up on the other podcasts I listen to.
