Jedit posted:There's a provision in the rule that as long as you've proven your car can get within 7% of the fastest, you can race. This prevents teams getting eliminated due to misfortune or rain starting in the middle of the session before they set a dry time. Manor had been inside 107% during FP3, so they get to run. And even so, Stevens in FP2 set a time that would have been quick enough in Q1.

If Vettel/Ferrari actually win stuff, will Alonso kill himself over the shame?

Moral WDC Chilton is currently practicing at Indy Lights St. Pete. The stream is free, on YouTube. Speaking of which, be nice if F1 did things like that. Never happen, I'm sure. Alright, I'm feeling like an idiot about the race. The time right now is 11:05pm, Saturday. Our DST change is between today and tomorrow, we 'lose' one hour. I can't figure out whether the race is at 10 or at 9 local time, and how to set my alarm. VV: Thank you. I can handle a conversion, but I just didn't feel sure. Really appreciated. The race starts at 8am BST. As such with the clocks going forward set your alarm for 7am. Its not hard people come on.

Also Android phones should automatically compensate for the clocks going forward, so if you have one set your usual alarm.

It really depends if the string of victories Alonso achieves at the end of the season will be enough to make up for the early season poo poo performance.
