after a first listen id say cherry bomb is pretty good but it's not really the direction i wanted him to go in. i was hoping for a more refined and mature wolf but instead it sounds like he's been listening to too much clipping. i'll have to listen to it more but i don't think it's as good as wolf but definitely better than bastard and goblin

I personally prefer Bastard, but it's not a big reach to see why people would prefer Wolf. Cherry Bomb is definitely my favorite Tyler album so far. It pretty much avoided the hit and miss quality that the rest of his stuff has had for me. spoils posted:little disappointing there is no Earl/Tyler song on either of their albums. Assmilk is a cool song I'm still holding out hope for a surprise EarlWolf a couple years down the line. Or at least another single.
