Tony obviously doesn't watch Roadkill. "Oh the Viper? I borrowed it from the Roadkill guys" and no crazy reaction.

They've got to be doing this for the fun of it. Unless the dude ordering it is paying a million bucks for it, they're working for $5 an hour.

Yeah it's Blackhurst's car. He has a few brain problems. Well, more than a few. But good ones.

This gets a bit cheesy at times, but this video, detailing the restoration of a pre-war Mercedes 540 Streamliner, is pretty neat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZXRAQw9kyE

Wheeler Dealers is a lot of fun, as is Victory By Design, where Alain de Cadenet takes museum-level historic race cars and beats the living hell out of them on some private estate. Luckiest son-of-a-bitch on the planet. There was a "How It's Made - Dream Cars" series that is outstanding, as well. Of course, most anything from Jay Leno's Garage is amazing too. Seeing as how it's May, Legends of the Brickyard is always appropriate.

I just found Mud, Sweat, and Gears. It's a BBC America show starring Jonny Smith and Tom Ford (both from Fifth Gear) doing team-based challenges with cars kind of like a Top Gear challenge meets any of the "build a car in a short time" type shows. So far I'm about 15 minutes in to the first episode and it's not terrible. They're building police cars out of a Firebird and a Jaguar. edit: Just finished the episode, it was pretty entertaining though I'd really have liked a bit more time spent on the builds. wolrah fucked around with this message at 03:18 on May 14, 2015 |

Not video, but Dan Neil did a piece on his ride along with Sir Stirling and the Mercedes for This American Life, found here. It's pretty good. I think the whole show is pretty good. There is also a NUMMI episode that I thought was really good.
