I am honestly pretty happy with my resource situation. Thus, VC will perform Ops + Special Activity. VC will Rally Edit: I forgot to check how many guys I had left in reservce. Pay 1 and replace 2 Guerrillas in Tay Ninh with a base. Pay 1 and place 2 Guerrillas in Quang Tin. Pay 1 and place 2 Guerrillas in Quang Duc. Pay 1 and place 2 Guerrillas in Binh Tuy. VC Rallies in Tay Ninh, Quang Tin-Quang Ngai, Quang Duc-Long Khanh, and Binh Tuy-Binh Thuan. Two Guerrillas are replaced with a base in Tay Ninh, Two Guerrillas are placed in each of Quang Tin-Quang Ngai, Quang Duc-Long Khanh, and Binh Tuy-Binh Thuan. VC Subverts in Kien Hoa-Vinh Binh and Quang Nam. One ARVN Troop and one Police are removed from Kien Hoa-Vinh Binh. One Police is removed from Quang Nam. Four VC resources are spent and ARVN Patronage is reduced by one. Current:  The Sihanouk trail was the portion of the Ho Chi Minh trail that operated inside of Cambodia and supplied operations in the Mekong Delta region of South Vietnam. The Sihanouk trail received supplies from the north via Laos and the coast. Prince Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia sought a balanced policy between East and West blocs that led him to tolerate NVA presence on Cambodian territory and North Vietnam’s use of Sihanoukville port and a “Sihanouk Trail” from there into South Vietnam. As an owner of this game who has never been able to play it other than a couple solo games, it's been fun to see this plays out! Is it dead? How long can a PbP of a COIN game be expected to take?

The pollen this season has been murder, let me tell you. As for how long it should last, there are 66 cards left in the deck, five of which are Coups. An event card can have at most two actions done on it, so if I get an action done a day we should be done in four or five months. Around six or seven months total for a long game sounds about right. All the other COIN games and scenarios, save perhaps the Extended scenario in ADP, should take less time then that, assuming the update schedule keeps up. Expect an update here shortly.

These two reported encounters between North Vietnam and the USN were the basis for the Gulf of Tonkin resolution that gave the Johnson administration legal justification for military operations in Vietnam.
