:colbert:

E: :siren: tentative deal :siren:

On the off chance anyone is interested in Western Canada,

My personal work truck is coming off lease and I plan on buying it out. It won't be ready to go until near the end of the month (lease paperwork, small repair I want to do) but I'll take a commitment for it here before I list it on Kijiji when its ready to go.

2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Access Cab
4.0 V6 5 spd Auto
Anti-lock, traction control, TPMS, yadda

Grey cloth interior

160,700 KMs, 80%+ on asphalt highway
Never offroaded or abused
Completely stock

Never, ever a problem with it. Period. Only time it was ever in the shop for anything other than an oil change was for the Toyota floor mat and seat belt recall. It has been flawlessly reliable.

Power windows, locks, cruise, AC, intermittent wipers, keyless entry etc. Everything works
Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
Factory stereo can read MP3s and has aux input and steering wheel controls

Glass was replaced in the fall and no cracks, but it does have 3 chips
Garaged in the winter so I never even untied the block heater
No leaks, drips or anything. Truck is tight and runs/drives really well.

I have had it since new, although in the company name.

Needs nothing except probably some new tires by next winter. The currently mounted tires are Goodyear Silent Armor are getting low, probably about 20%. Spare is excellent and on a factory aluminum rim.

Last time I took the wheels off the brakes were around 40%. I'd say another couple years as long as you don't drive like a jerk.

Good shape but certainly not showroom perfect. Some rock chips, scratches and a couple dents but nothing terrible for a 4 year old, 160K truck. Took a shopping cart in a parking lot and got the dent mostly out but it is still visible. Some jerk kids threw some eggs in the neighborhood a couple years ago and you can see where one hit the paint, but it's not bad.

No accidents other than a minor parking lot scrape hit & run on the front plastic bumper which I will get fixed at the micro-repair place before I sell it (or I'll take $500 off if a buyer prefers).

Oil changed at dealer every 5-7K and I'll do it one last time. I'll plan on doing the oil in the transfer case and diffs personally and also put in a new air and cabin air filters before it goes.

$16,750 before I list it at the end of the month. Truck is located in Lethbridge, about 2 hours south of Calgary.

Yes it is available - and dear god, Craigslist never changes. Had some kid in Utah try and play games by texting me on two different numbers, then he got his dad involved, and I told them I wasn't interested in playing games or having my time wasted. Pretty sure he's why it got flagged.

I would be interested in a trade/partial trade for a crew cab pickup, but otherwise I think I'm set on wagons, thanks for offering though. :)

Just needs to be: baby seat friendly, able to pass inspection in DC, and no major mechanical issues.

Price range anywhere $2000 - 8000 or so.

Not in a rush; but figure if anyone's good to ask: its goons.

Just remembered that my automotive ADD landed me with some weird rubber I've still yet to get rid of. It's a set of 4 195/45R15 Kumho Ecsta SPT/KU31, mounted on 4x100 Escort GT 5 spoke wheels (the finish is chipped in a couple spots but they don't look bad at all until you get really close). Never actually used them, but they've been sitting since 2012. $300 for the whole set. Able to dismount them as well, but I'd really rather not since they were an absolute bitch to mount.
I'll try to find the pictures I have around somewhere and post them. Located in Calgary, AB so shipping is going to be ridiculous if you're on the east end of the continent.

I bet my parents would let their 1998 Toyota Sienna go for about that much. It's mechanically sound, but cosmetically rough (both my brother and I learned to drive on it). PM me if you want me to try to get in touch with them.

Dammit! Yeah, I didn't even think of centerbore. Everyone who has offered wheels, including Tommychu, has ones with a centerbore at least a few mm too small. Thanks guys but I clearly need to think this through a bit more before I do anything. Not used to it mattering, everything else I own is either a very standard pattern or using aftermarket wheels with a huge centerbore and lug centric pattern...

It's not a big deal to have the centers bored out, I've had my local wheel repair shop do it to multiple sets for like $10/wheel, any good machine shop should be able to do the same. Or DIY, intentionally make the hole half a mm too big and call it a lug centric wheel.

I have a set of four pristine floor mats, black, originally for a 2005 VW Golf GL. They have never been used (got the rubber mats), they just rode around in the trunk for a couple years. Now they're a bit dusty on a garage shelf. They would probably fit any Mk IV Golf/GTI/Jetta, but I don't know that for a fact. They've got the little holes you pass the little twisty locks through to hold them in place.

I also have an owner's manual for a 2005 Golf GL, mint condition

Also, a "Haynes Repair Manual for VW Golf, GTI, & Jetta 1999 thru 2005, all 4-cylinder gas engines and the TDI (1999-2004)." very good condition.

These items are located in 94520. The books could be shipped very cheaply at book rate, the mats are a bit bulky but could be rolled up or folded to ship for probably a reasonable amount.

Best offer. Pics on request.

I have a 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning for sale. 35,700+ miles.

I inherited this thing, along with a 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 (also for sale, listing on the way), so it has been sitting for a little over 2 years - that's when my dad passed, but I didn't have the nerve to deal with this till past few months. Needs all the fluids drained/replaced and I highly recommend a set of new tires. Other than that, my mechanic says it's in great shape but runs very rough right now.

Nice car, just a word of advice though.. Since it's in pretty good shape, I'd have at least rinsed/toweled the exterior to get rid of the splatters of whatever that is on the hood.

don't mind me, I'm just out hunting.

I'm selling my 1996 Mazda Miata. It's Red, 5spd, has 134k on it and it's been my DD for a couple years so it has some door dings, minor scratches, the stuff associated with a car that has been used. Car has a OEM hardtop with defrost from a White 1993 Miata. It's in pretty decent shape, but one of the corners has had a pretty good whack on it.

I'm trying out this wheelwell site, figured it might come in handy for listing the same thing on multiple message boards, without putting the car up on Craigslist because I hate dealing with Craigslist.

https://www.wheelwell.com/profile/54e4e2b17c533daf62fe385d/vehicles/554260690b89d067775cea2a/specs/

If you have any other questions or want some more pictures of stuff, I've got PMs or you can e-mail me, username at gmail.

I'm asking $4300 with Hard Top, $3500 without.
