And now Hammond tweeted: Richard Hammond (@RichardHammond) tweeted at 1:04 pm on Fri, Apr 24, 2015: To be clear amidst all this talk of us 'quitting' or not: there's nothing for me to 'quit'. Not about to quit my mates anyway.

A lot of Top Gear fans seem to not care for the news segment, but some of the funniest stuff has come out of that segment. Every Christmas news segment is amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPrg_ccBsRM Jehde fucked around with this message at 21:35 on Apr 24, 2015 |

Who doesn't like the news? The news is always the best. People might be thinking of SIARPC.

SIARPC wouldn't be so bad if it was interesting people who like cars to come on and talk about cars. Stopping a car show to talk to some dickback singer who doesn't have a drivers license and has never owned a car just because he's got an album coming out pretty much just makes it a piss break.

I would have been fine if Top gear was just an hour long news segment with an occasional challenge/special.

For years i would just skip past SIARPC. I wish they used that segment to do a weekly cool wall, and slot the "big adventure story" video in there, and keep the car reviews. Near the end it was always stupid international road trips. All i wanted was golfs and corvettes on the test track

If they did a weekly half hour news program throughout the year, I would watch that.

I don't get the SIARPC hate. Some are better than others, but they're all pretty decent.

I'll be the one to say it. The cool wall sucks and I skip it every time.

If it's some british guy I've never heard of, I usually skip it. Not saying it should always be American movie stars, but it should be people who are internationally known. Though, i'm glad they had seasick steve on that one time. He's cool.

I'm reading that as "While they did change the plates, the circumstances means it wasn't a crime" - that is, she's OK with the plate swapping part.

Yeah, rereading it, the decision wasn't stupid, just the rhetoric around it. So perhaps a non-stupid judge, who knows she has to throw a bone to the angry mob, while she gives a sensible judgement.

Yes the current population of the Falklands are the native inhabitants.

I love the fact that the prosecutors pursued this in the first place. They were obviously just fishing for a crime they could charge them with.
